APPLICATIONS – UTILITIES

Safe Excavation Work
Expose buried gas, water, sewer and electric utilities in a safe and controlled manner.
Excavation works can be completed without the need for operatives to be in the pit.
Increased safety whilst excavating and a proven method of substantially reducing damages to third party buried plant.
Keyhole Excavation Works
Suction excavation systems and many trenchless installation systems lend themselves for use in utility keyhole replacement techniques.
Suction excavation is often utilised with surface coring techniques to enable safe, small footprint dig down on gas, water and electric utilities.
Short moles, and small footprint cable bursters can often be utilised in conjunction with surface coring techniques.

Trenchless replacement of falling mains and services
Bursters and winches, are widley used in the utility industry for the replacement of failing mains and services.
Moles enable the replacement of old gas, water and electric services into properties avoiding the need to dig up drives, gardens or paths.
Bursters enable the replacement of failing gas and water main networks and more recently are utilised in the replacement of failing domestic sewer laterals etc. Winches are widley used in the utility industry to insert new PE pipes, electrical and communication cables into existing pipes and ducts.
